The second grade students were participating in a science paper house competition. The goal was to create a paper house that stood 6 inches high. The second part of the competition was to create a 6 inch tall paper house that could hold a hard cover book (without crumbling or falling over.) During the project the class learned different folding techniques as well as building features and shapes to inlcude in their houses, to keep their building standing.
