Ms. Mac’s Kindergarten Newsletter
Hello
families of the Kindergarten class in room 138!
My name is
Tara MacCallum but the students refer to me as Ms. Mac. We have had a fantastic
start to the year. I will send home a
newsletter in the students’ folders every other Friday. If you feel that you need to communicate with
me more frequently, I am always happy to schedule meetings to discuss your
child’s progress before or after school.

manner.
The students are excited to show you what we
have been learning during the Open House next week, on September 15th
from 6 pm to 7 pm. The Kindergarten segment of the Open House will start at
6:15 pm.
We have a field trip coming up on September 22nd
to the Riverview Apple Orchard at 8:40 am.
If you would like to join us please be sure to get your volunteer form
into the office by the 18th.
It has been
wonderful getting to know your children for the last seven days of school. They
are enthusiastic and ready to learn! The students have been working hard
learning the colors of the rainbow, counting from zero to ten, learning the
days of the week, and observing the shapes we find in the classroom and at
home. The class has shown how to be
caring, safe, and are excellent Dothan Brook Otters! We are looking forward to
the rest of the school year together.
