Sensible Studies

The class has been learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the changes he made in our world.  The world knows now, that skin color is not important; who you are and how you treat others is what matters. The eggs show the students that they may be different colors but they are all still eggs.  People come in different colors and sizes and we need to treat everyone with kindness and respect.

The students colored beautiful portraits of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Individually they were great, but when they are put together as a collage they look spectacular! We need to celebrate and appreciate the differences in others because it is what makes each person special!
